The man in the picture seems to be for the mosque but the man who drew the picture seems to be ageinst it for he drew the man to be unflattering. JEREMY J.MCCABE :)

  4. I think the pictue is for the mosque because the man portrayed in the picture is against the mosque but does not seem to care at all.

  8. I feel that the man in the picture is anti-mosque, but the person who drew the picture is pro-mosque, for he drew the "typical" anti-mosque arguer as apathetic and uncaring.

  9. The man doesn't seem to be very happy about a mosque being built near ground zero. It is saying that building a mosque is not being liked that much by citizens of the United States because of the muslim terrost attack on 9:11 which resulted in ground zero.

  10. I think it represents the debate between events adnd actions held on ground zero. Also because of deaths

  11. I think the person is for the mosque because the button is bigger.

  12. The picture is of a man who seems to be against the mosque. I think this because of the buttons that the man is wearing. The author of the cartoon seems to be for the mosque because the buttons seem somewhat dull. Akeru Daniels

  15. it is a balding white male that has a button saying that all of america is ground zero and one that says no mosques on ground zero. BUT saying that a mosque cannot be built is AGAINST THE 1ST AMENDMENT some may view it as insensitive, but i doubt those who died because of prejudice would appreciate prejudice. Freedom of Religion is one the first right given in the Bill of Rights.

  16. I think he is not happy with the mosque but the cartoonist is for the mosque being built. I personally am not for the mosque being built. It is disrespectfull to those who died to muslim terror.

This is trying to show that mosques are trying to be removed but the man representing this isn't someone i would follow or listen to.

  23. It isn't respectful...they should remember the people that died. I think they should build a memorial park there. Something respectful to the people that were killed or their families.

  24. I don't agree because, we all should have the freedom of religion.

  25. it looks like an everyday american and he doesnt want the mosque built near ground zero.

  26. I think that the Mosque near ground zero should be allowed to be built. The constitution gives you the freedom of religion. I think that there should be more research in the people behind the funding of the mosque. But the government has no right to prevent it from being built unless there is legitiment pfoof that it is a terrorist group.

  27. I think that the author is trying to say that the person (people) that he/she is trying to represent disagree with buliding a mosque near ground zero or even anyplace at all. You can tell that because the person is wearing two buttons. One of the buttons says "no mosque on ground zero." The other says "ground zero" on a backdrop of a representation of the United States. I do not agree with the person (people) the cartoon is trying to represent,as I feel that people should have the freedom to practice their religion

  29. i think the picture is saying no church on ground zero but is supporting ground zero. i dont agree i think that the chuch should be on ground zero because it should stay as a rememberence for the people who died in 9-11...Keyera Wade

  30. The message of the cartoon is that people think that the mosque will always be too close to ground zero because of prejudice, and i agree, and i think that the mosque should be built.

I agree because if a mosque was built on gound zero it would take away the memorial purpose of why nothing has been built on ground zero.
